A search engine that determines ranking according to the dollar amount you pay for each click from that search engine to your site. The highest ranking goes to the highest bidder.
Also known as Pay For Performance or Search Advertising. Pay Per Click advertising gives advertisers the possibility of having their adverts appear on the Search Engine results pages of certain Search Engines. The position of the adverts is decided on a bidding system with adverts paying being positioned at the top of the page. Payment is then made at this rate every time someone clicks on the link in the advert which takes them through to the advertiser's website.
2 tier meaning
The other side of PPC as we see it is by earning money from clicking on a AD as mentioned in more detail on the recommended page. This will enable you to earn revenue from displaying ads on your site so if someone clicks on it the ad company you are displaying will pay you! for the click.
